Return and Refund Policy

Service-Based Business

Scentghart provides professional lawn and garden maintenance services. As services are performed and completed, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. This policy outlines our approach to service satisfaction, cancellations, and refunds.

Service Satisfaction

We are committed to providing high-quality lawn and garden maintenance services. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We will work with you to address any concerns and, if necessary, provide corrective service at no additional charge.

Cancellation Policy

Before Service Begins

If you cancel scheduled services with at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund of any prepaid amounts.

After Service Begins

If you cancel services after work has begun, refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed. Any work already performed will be charged at our standard rates, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

No-Show or Last-Minute Cancellation

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost, unless due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g., severe weather, emergency situations).

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, but typically take 5-10 business days.

Recurring Service Agreements

For ongoing service agreements:

  • You may cancel your recurring service agreement at any time with 30 days written notice
  • Services already performed will be charged at the agreed-upon rate
  • Any prepaid amounts for future services will be refunded on a prorated basis
  • No cancellation fees apply for recurring service agreements cancelled with proper notice

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Equipment failure beyond our control
  • Inability to access your property

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule services or provide appropriate refunds.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute regarding our services or charges, please contact us directly. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly. If we cannot resolve a dispute to your satisfaction, you may seek resolution through appropriate consumer protection agencies in New Zealand.
